Our client is a world renowned American brand with multi-billion dollars in sales revenue, operating thousands of restaurants worldwide. They own some of the world's leading brands where they have been serving their respective communities for decades.
They are recruiting for the role of Legal Counsel for their international business based out of Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, negotiate and finalize legal agreements, including franchise agreements, development agreements, investment agreements, letter agreements and other relevant documents, with a strong attention to detail and a view to managing risk while maximizing protections and benefits to the business.
- Support and provide guidance on disclosure and registration requirements, in compliance with applicable laws.
- Support the business teams on day-to-day matters
- Perform other general legal and/or business duties and functions
Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Singapore, US, England & Wales, or any commonwealth country
- At least 6 years of transactional experience in a leading law firm.
- Excellent drafting skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong collaborative skills, including the ability to coordinate with lawyers across the world, external counsel and a broad range of people across the business.
