Our client is a global investment multi family office headquartered in Singapore that offers wealth and asset management services across Singapore, India and Dubai offices. They are investment partners to a diverse set of investors ranging from pension funds and insurance companies to single-family offices.
Their Singapore office is looking for a Singapore or Common law qualified lawyer with 6-9 years of experience working for funds, fund managers and/or tax planning. This role is at the VP level and will report into the General Counsel based in Singapore. This is a unique role as it would have responsibility not just over legal but also business affairs and will entail advising Ultra-high Net worth individuals and families on all aspects of their wealth and business succession planning and on asset protection. The role would in addition, advise on commercial legal and tax issues that emanate from private wealth planning. The candidate should have a degree in law from a top tier law school and should have a through understanding of the general principles of law and tax, specifically relating to trust law and corporate law.
